To commemorate World Space Week, we had the privilege of hosting a talk by our featured guest, Dr. Alexander Ling, a distinguished Quantum Physics Professor from the National University of Singapore (NUS), who shared how his work for the Centre for Quantum Technologies led to the founding of SpeQtral, a private company offering commercial space-based quantum key distribution (QKD).
In addition to Dr. Ling’s enlightening presentation, we convened an insightful panel discussion focusing on the thriving Singapore Space ecosystem. We discussed the remarkable advancements and opportunities within the space industry, highlighting the crucial role of education in nurturing the next generation of space enthusiasts.
